Ø Meaning of job application letter

A job application letter is a letter from a prospective employee to a prospective employer. The contents of the job application letter are in the form of a request that he be given a job by the prospective employer.

Signature and full name are usually placed in the lower right corner of the letter, then written below the applicant's full name.
